GROUP TRAINING

  • Yes, it is! Every workout can be modified so individuals can perform at their best. Everyone can do Group Training with AR regardless of age, injury, movement proficiency, strength or fitness level.

  • Absolutely not. Our programming is what’s going to get you in shape. This is not a sink-or-swim fitness program, and no minimum level of fitness is required.

  • Not a problem, our coaches will tailor the workout. We may adjust certain movements, guide you on weight selection, change the length or number of reps you perform, or ask you to slow down or move faster.

  • Our goal is to optimise physical competence in a number of domains: new levels of strength gain, defined fat loss and muscle building, increased fitness and performance, skill development, improved cardiovascular endurance, enhanced mobility and movement.

  • The workouts we program aren't designed to break you. You can make them as hard as you want them to be. If you’re just getting started, take it slow, focus on technique and enjoy the process. We’re not here to compete against each other, but to encourage and motivate each other towards feeling stronger, healthier and best of all, feeling good.

  • No. But we occasionally follow CrossFit methods and workouts. CrossFit is awesome, the only major difference with us is that we follow a periodised model focusing on progressive overload for strength + conditioning. We look to find the right balance of variation and specificity.

  • Fill us in on what’s been going on and let’s get you moving in a way that feels good. Our Coaches are qualified in their field and will guide you through your training with whatever niggle you may have.

And if you have a niggle that prevents you from performing a certain movement, we can definitely provide alternatives. I.e running - we are more than happy for you to jump on a bike instead.
